Made a visit to the underground museum located in the church of Cuijk, Netherlands. Many Roman artifacts on display that were found in the area. The jewelry was very intricate and most still intact. Very enjoyable.

This looks mesmerizing! It amazes me that a civilization that worked so hard to feed, shelter and clothe itself found time to create beautiful art and jewelry. Makes me wonder why it is so hard for individuals in our society (myself included) to find time for the aesthetic.
